Yesterday  27^th November the Mexican Federal Preventative Police (PFP) transferred 141 sympathizers of the APPO (Popular Assembly of the Oaxacan People) who were detained during Saturday’s confrontations in Oaxaca to a higher security prison in the western state of Nayarit. 

As fellow media makers and artists, we are writing to honor the memory of independent journalist, filmmaker, and respected activist Brad Will, who was brutally murdered while filming the grassroots popular movement in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Tuesday 31^st October 

The repression against the Popular People`s Assembly of Oaxaca (APPO) and its supporters, significantly heightened last Friday with the entrance of the army and Federal Preventative Police and subsequent deaths, disappearances, detentions and casualties, continues today in Oaxaca.
